Dr.Jinglan Zhang, Senior Lecturer, QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY. Dr. Zhang researches in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Software. In particular, her research interests include Web Intelligence and Information Retrieval, Data Management, Visual and Acoustic Information (Graphics, Images, and Sound) Processing and Retrieval, Decision Support Systems, and Concurrent and Distributed systems. Dr. Zhang is an accredited supervisor for PhD students.

QUT English requirements for international research students

English Proficiency requirements

IELTS: overall 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6

TOEFL iBT (Internet based) : overall 90 with no sub-score less than 20

Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) : overall 64 with no sub-score less than 58

Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): overall 66 with no sub-score less than Borderline

Cambridge English : Proficiency (CPE): C1

QUT Academic entry requirements for PhD

first or second class division A honours degree or equivalent, or
Masters by Research degree or
Professional Doctorate by research degree or
Masters by Coursework or Professional Doctorate by coursework with no less than 25% research component and GPA of at least 5.0 on a 7 point scale
